Why should I use cloth?

Here are some quick facts.

  • 3.75 million disposable nappies are used every day in Australia and New Zealand alone.
  • The average baby needs 6570 nappies* from birth to toilet training (That is a lot of nappy changes!)
  • In one city in Australia, the last kerbside audit of household waste showed that 6.1 percent of this cities waste was nappies.
  • Disposable nappies take up to 500 years to degrade.
  • A 24-27 pack of cloth nappies will cost between $240 and $945. Disposables, on average, will cost $3278.08

Are you cruelty-free and vegan?

Absolutely. All of our products are free of animal testing and mostly vegan. That is a key criteria in anything being sold on the site. Many of our products are approved by PETA, Leaping Bunny, Certified Cruelty Free, NATRUE or the Vegan Society.

Can you put cloth nappies in the washing machine?

Yes and before you use new cloth nappies, you'll need to wash them. Like towels, nappies aren't very absorbent when they're brand new. Put them in your machine with a small amount of detergent and run through two full washes.

How do i wash my dirty nappies?

  1. Step 1: Remove solids. Drop poo in the loo and store the used cloth nappy in a dry pail.
  2. Step 2: Pre-wash cycle. Run a pre-wash cycle 40-60 degrees with detergent every 1-2 days. ...
  3. Step 3: Main-wash cycle. ...
  4. Step 4: Hang to dry.

More of what our raving community has to say!

I am so pleased with the 5 star service Natalia and her team provide. She goes above and beyond to order what I need. Natalia has really morphed my mind for the better using reusable products. The new Bella collection has blown my mind. Especially the nappies, my girl can sleep through the night with no leaks. Just amazing!!Really looking forward to more prints that will get released so I can purchase more from the Bella collection. Thankyou so much Nat and team.
